Excellent groups at both lodges this week and some good fishing also. Tally of 13 permit for the week and four grand slams, plus some nice tarpon and snook, and the usual numbers of bones. Found some hungry migratory tarpon, all over a hundred pounds in E. Bay. The week started off quite windy out of the east, and the first several days fishing was not as good as usual, perhaps due to a pressure issue. Fish were seen and caught but not in the usual numbers. After that however, the winds eased up a bit and there were a couple of really good days in the flats. At Playa one angler managed a double grand slam in one day.
