Weather all across the board this week, with a gorgeous start followed by two days of downpour and finishing up with mixed clouds and medium winds. Overall the fishing was excellent, despite the rainy days. Some very nice permit in singles and doubles the norm this week, they’re no longer so heavily schooled up. Ten permit for the week, three of them firsts, as well as 6 grand slams. Big bonefish in the backcountry, tarpon fishing was consistent as well, both in the bays and in the backcountry. A few nice snook came to hand as well. The rainy season appears to be upon us, from here on out we can expect at least some moisture any given week.
