A tough start to the week weather-wise, as the stout Northern trends continued, but conditions improved daily and fishing was consistent for all species and on the improve for permit specifically, with more seen and cast to than in the previous several weeks, and some sizable fish to hand into the bargain. On the windier days anglers who didn’t want to battle it were able to find the larger bonefish in good numbers in the backcountry. The fishing off the dock at night at Casa Blanca was action packed this week as well. A great week all things considered.
