Weather was all over the board this week, with a couple of great days and some interspersed showers and clouds, fishing steady throughout for all species. Father and son Bill and John W looked hard for permit with guide Eladio and were each rewarded with fish, John’s first. The rest of the group was fairly new to fly fishing but anglers to a man, they took to the challenge and had great success with bonefish and tarpon, not to mention the dorado, mackerel, and barracuda out beyond the reef. Angling duo David and Charlie from the UK had a great week with guide Rafael, managing four permit and a grand slam between them.
