Water was on the continued rise this week and fishing improved daily but still seemed tough for this time of year. Weather started out quite windy out of the SE and calmed to almost nothing midweek. Wednesday and Thursday were lovely, with high sun and light winds. Friday morning the skies opened up and dropped a truly impressive quantity of rainwater, but cleared by noon and finished on a gorgeous note. All species were caught this week, and all were well-earned. Impressive lightning shows on the horizon at night this week mark the arrival of the rainy season, laying turtles and land crabs among others are loving it.
