The weather was all across the board this week, with winds of varying strengths and combinations from the North, East, and South. Visibility was all across the board as well. Permit fishermen who with high expectations were singing the blues somewhat this week, with a handful of fish boated but below our average catch rate. Fish dispersion still consists of large schools for the most part, making for a smaller target in the needle in the haystack game. Anglers going for all other species were happy and amply rewarded. Snook, bone, and tarpon fishing were all great this week, catches were healthy and average sizes up.
