Good weather week overall, with only a couple of stout wind days and good visibility, moon waning from full. Couple’s week with Trouthunter on the Henry’s Fork. Permit fishing still pretty good in both bays with plenty of shots had by all who went looking, though perhaps fewer eats than in the last few weeks. Total permit tally, 8 for the week. The week started out strong, first day out Allie and Charles H managed a double grand slam and Millie P got a slam as well. On the more trying of the wind days, anglers hit the backcountry and were well rewarded, the big bonefish are back, and tarpon and snook are on the feed.
