Casa and Playa Blanca Lodges Fishing Report May 23-30

7:01 am , June 3, 2015 0

Average weather week with no precipitation, winds medium to strong from the Southeast, scattered clouds with visibility improving towards week’s end. Plenty of permit seen and lots of chances had in both bays, but the catching was tough. Fish are starting to leave the school formation with more and more singles and pairs around, upping the odds for legitimate shots. Permit tally for the week, 2, with two more hooked and lost. Snook and tarpon fishing was good in the backcountry, big bonefish being found as well, especially in A Bay.
