Some stronger than average winds out of the southeast most of this week kept anglers on their toes, but fun and success still found in plenty. Permit tally, 17, with fish of all sizes. Most permit are still schooled up, with some boats finding the schools and others not so lucky. Snook and tarpon fishing was good this week as well, though the wind direction and strength limited some of the fishing areas, especially in E Bay. A very impressively broad barracuda caught this week by Kyle H below, with guide Jorge.
And, as an update to this report, there was indeed and epic soccer game played between clients and staff this week, our guys got it handed to them. Here’s a photo, great fun had by all, we’re training up for a rematch!
