We had 6 boats fishing at the lodge this week. WorldCast Anglers hosted a trip with the Watson group from Chattanooga, TN. The week started off with an unusual west wind which settled out by Wednesday and became good conditions. Kevin landed his first permit ever and then was able to catch two more throughout the week. Jared on his first trip to the lodge also managed to check permit off the list as well as a Grand Slam on the final day. Chuck and William made the most Wednesday when permit were all over the place. Clay made a 4th quarter effort and landed a permit at 3:30pm on Friday afternoon. With that permit Clay won the permit belt buckle that is now a tradition for the group.They each ended up catching two permit. We enjoyed having the Watson group back and look forward to the next five weeks before we take a Christmas break.
