The end of January and first few days of February tried hard to fight off the Northern push in weather and it worked out to be an eclectic mix of Sunny days, Northern winds, clouds, wind and Tuesday that provided a flat calm day for all the Anglers.
Junior and Diane Seltzer left Playa and spent their second week at Casa with Doc and arriving Saturday good friend Joe Dudra. The week started off with a good snook bite. All of the anglers at Casa stuck the hooks to big snook all week. Joe Dudra spent a good day in the middle of the week releasing very large Bones in the Backcountry. Diane was the star of the show with a Triple Tail, a handful of Snook and 2 gorgeous Permit.
Playa Blanca welcomed Chris and Steve from Crested Butte and Alec and Rob From Richmond, Virginia. The week provided many firsts for the foursome of Anglers. Alec knocked off his first Permit as well as Rob and Chris. The entire crew enjoyed a good Snook bite and and the week ended on fire with a Super Slam for Alec and Friday afternoon provided 5 Permit for Rob and Chris in the 6 to 8 lb range and 2 Permit for chris.
Thanks to the whole gang that worked around ever changing weather this week!
