This week brought back many familiar faces at Casa and Playa Blanca. Our week started out with some heavy East/South-East winds that made fishing a bit more difficult. By Wednesday wind settled out a bit and clients started to find more permit, tarpon and bonefish.
Adam had success in the mangroves early in the week jumping tarpon and landing a snook. Bonefishing remained good in the protection of Santa Rosa lagoons. The week was capped off with a fourth quarter effort by Peter catching his permit on Friday!
Ted Johnston enjoyed two days where he caught multiple Permit. Ted also got multiple jumps out of a 90lb+ tarpon. Austin Dishman was able to land his first permit and celebrated by eating a scorpion. When the wind laid down for a bit, Tom Merrit and John Elmo stumbled upon a school of migratory tarpon on the ocean side and jumped several large fish.
