Brian from WorldCast anglers hosted a group of 5 boats at Playa Blanca. Most everyone had been to the lodge before and most were interested in permit. The wind blew out of the NE most of the week and sunshine was not abundant. John managed to land a permit on the first day as well as Alex. It was Franks first trip to the lodge and he jumped a handful of tarpon and put a few in the boat. We Had a major rain day mid week but everyone managed to fish. Rip landed a permit on Wednesday and we enjoyed a fun night on the roof for Mexican night. The fresh water in the bay and the heavy wind made permit more scarce than normal. We enjoyed the week with this crew and will see them next year.
